Goal of the Activity

Through this activity participants will understand the importance of reusing what you have instead of buying new clothes. They will also develop their fine motor skills while cutting and sewing their new pieces. Finally, the will be creatively engaged and unwind from classes.

Description

As a part of the Social Impact Days initiative, we invite you to join us in a journey towards a more sustainable future, with our Clothing Upcycling Workshop. Instead of letting old fabrics go to waste, we’ll be using them to make decorative patches, proving that fashion doesn’t have to harm the planet! Bring clothes you want to transform or you don't use anymore, beads, ribbons, buttons or any other materials you might have and let’s create something new out of them!

!! Everyone is free to donate clothes and materials, even without participating in the workshop. All clothes should be clean, while socks and underwear aren't accepted in general.

WHEN: Tuesday, 19/11

TIME: 20:00

WHERE: Ippokratous 15, 4th floor

PRICE: Free
