Goal of the Activity
To reduce the impact of waste on the local environment, both land and sea, to raise awareness on the issue and to promote volunteering.
Description
Clean-up event organized by the local volunteers of the association Plastic Free. It consisted in a 2-hour-long walk during which the participants collected and differentiated the waste they found in the park and along the sea. The clean-up was open to the local community, including other students and associations. The event among was part of the Welcome Week organised by ESN Trieste.
