The purpose of this activity is to raise awareness on the environmental issue by watching a film in English and spend an evening with international students, even during the quarantine period.
For the environmental theme, we chose the famous film "Into the Wild", written and directed by Sean Penn, based on a true story.
We entered Alexander Supertramp's life and walked along his side through the streets of the United States, reaching the inhospitable lands of Alaska. The film was viewed via the Skype platform. The link was shared in the description of the Facebook event and in the various groups.
International students liked the film: it was very exciting and made us reflect on the fact that we are so focused on our lives, made of materialism and consumerism, that we do not notice how wonderful the planet we live in is. Nature gave the protagonist of the film unique experiences.
