To discuss the influences of movies on our culture, discover curiosities about modern cinema, have fun all together and learn about Italian cinema we organized a Cinema Quiz for our international students.
During the Cinema Month organized by ESN Italy we decided to prepare a Cinema Quiz divided in 5 rounds:
1) International classics – so we could notice how universal are films and no matter what country we are from, some productions are known everywhere and had an impact on every culture.
2) Disney movies – to remind ourselves that some films were, and are, the perfect vehicle for shaping popular opinion form an early age.
3) Movie festivals and contests – to proof that cinema is a combination of art and business appreciated all over the world.
4) Italian cinema – so our international students could discover the most important achievements of italian cinematography.
5) A special task – during which every team had to reproduce a scene from a well known film.
Between rounds and after the quiz we were talking about our favorite films and about the most productions in different countries. The best team won ESN t-shirts and tickets for the next party.
