Goal of the Activity

To present the International Students with some of the most typical activities done in Christmas in Spain (and more specifically, Madrid) and to promote intercultural exchange between all different countries represented by their students.

This also served as the final Tandem of the semester.

Description

The activity had three phases:

  1. In the first one, a Kahoot! was presented with questions regarding some of the most curious habits in Christmas all over the world.
  2. During the second part, a Black Story game was played with Christmas theme, which allowed the exchange students to practice the language they'd prefer.
  3. During the last phase, a video was presented simulating the 12 chimes at Puerta del Sol, which represent the transition from one year to the next. As a typical Spanish thing, 12 grapes were given to each student, and one is expected to eat a grape per chime. If you success, you'll have a lucky year.
