Objective / Goal of the activity

Students were invited to share a traditional Scottish Burns Supper - a meal eaten in celebration of our most famous poet Robert Burns. The goal was to raise awareness of a major cultural event which happens in Scotland every year, and for the students to find out more about the country's cultural heritage through this.

Description

ESN UofG & GUILS are celebrating Burns Night with a traditional Scottish Burn’s Supper, and everyone is welcome!

-----What is a Burns Supper?-----
Since 1801, Scots have celebrated the life of our national poet, Robert Burns, by gathering with friends for a night of food and entertainment. It’s a great chance to try haggis and get involved in some fun traditions!
There is no dress code, but we encourage you to dress smart, as is traditional for a Burns Supper!
-----How to get involved?-----
Tickets cost £14 per person, or £12 for ESNcard-holders. This includes a 2-course meal and plenty of entertainment!
