participants
By the end of the project, at least 50% of participating students have identified their soft and hard skills, relevant to their career path through the workshops and the other activities mentioned.
By the end of the project, 50% of students have completed a professional CV and cover letter, with progress tracked through feedback forms, along with guidance, templates, and workshops.
By the end of the project, 50% of participants have attended at least one networking event—either a speed networking session, alumni meeting, or company visit, their efficiency being measured through post-event surveys.
After a discussion with our volunteers, we have drawn the conclusion that they would want to be more prepared for the “real life” after they finish university, but sometimes they don’t know where to search for information or opportunities related to their future careers. They sometimes don’t know where to begin and they feel lost.
That’s why we decided to organize this project for local students and we thought that maybe they can use the resources that exist in our network.
The project took place on the 16th and the 17th of November in Iasi, Romania. The project included the following activities:
1. Career Development Workshops - on Saturday, 16th
-Skills Identification Workshop: students identified their soft and hard skills through self-assessment tools and peer feedback.
-Soft Skills Training: workshop on soft skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability, which are crucial for employability.
-CV and Cover Letter Writing: session on writing an effective CV and cover letter, including tips - on Europass, also view opportunities on the platform.
2. Networking Events - on Sunday, 17th
-Erasmus+ Speed Networking: speed networking event where students had short conversations with people who have been in Erasmus+ mobilities (study or traineeship) in order for them to find more international opportunities.
-Alumni Meeting: discussions with ESN alumnis from different career paths who shared their experiences, and challenges.
We had coffee breaks between all the activities.
