Book Club: The 999 hundred women of Auschwitz (2019)

This is an activity we make every month, in “Libreria Luces”. The book selected this time was “The 999 Hundred Women of Auschwitz” by the American writer Heather Dune Macadam in 2019.
 

The book tells the real story of the first 999 women about their experience inside the concentration camp where they suffer all kinds of misery by the nazis soldiers such as humiliations or seeing their fellows going to the gas chambers.
 

 There was a discussion about the book between the attendants. This kind of story have never been forgotten.
