On July 14th, a blood donation event was held in L'Aquila, organized by the Volunteer Abruzzo Sangue (VAS) in collaboration with the Italian Secretariat of Medical Students (SISM). The event aimed to encourage community participation in life-saving blood donations, particularly among students and young adults. The collaboration with SISM helped to raise awareness about the importance of donating blood, especially during the summer months when blood supplies often run low.
We are hoping to organise the same event in October or November so that more students and even international students can take part.
