Bilbao Trip

The starting point of the trip was the bus stop at the Rectorate of the University of Cantabria. At 10:30, the bus left for Getxo, where we crossed by boat to the other side of the Bilbao estuary (Portugalete) and then crossed back over the suspension bridge. At around 1:30 p.m., we headed to the centre of Bilbao, where we enjoyed some free time for lunch. At 4:00 p.m., there was a city tour offered by volunteers from ESN Bilbao. After the city tour, the group took the funicular up to the Artxanda viewpoint. Later, there was free time in the Old Town to enjoy a dinner of pinchos. At 10:00 pm, the bus began the return journey to Santander, making two stops for passengers, one at the ferry terminal and the other at the Rectorate
