The Beach Volley Tournament's objective was to collect our Erasmus students and make them know each other by teaming up and playing beach volley, making international students have a first impact with our beach as the weather let us play. Since the winter is coming and this activity won't be easy to organize, it was important to allow students who study and take classes at the university, sitting almost the entire day, to have a moment during which they could get active in the outdoors, training and having fun.
We enjoyed a sunny and warm afternoon in the middle of September to play at the beach. Volunteers organized the tournament with 12 teams of 3 players each. The total number of participants was 36. 3 groups of 4 teams so that every team could compete with each other and a 3 way-final with prizes. Volunteers were referee and kept the points. A lot of erasmus students and volunteers came to cheer their friends and enjoy the afternoon all together.
