Goal of the Activity

 The goal of this initiative was to actively reduce beach pollution, raise awareness about marine conservation, and encourage sustainable behaviors in local communities.

By participating Both Erasmus students and Volunteers gained insights into environmental issues, learned about sustainable practices, and contributed to important data collection for future conservation efforts. The event fosterd teamwork and raised awareness about global environmental.

Description

As part of the Social Impact Days series, Erasmus students are invited to take part in a Beach Cleaning event aimed at protecting our oceans and promoting environmental sustainability. Erasmus students worked together to collect litter and debris from the beach, while also participating in the important task of waste counting and categorization. This activity helped tracking the types of waste found, providing valuable data that contributes to environmental research and the development of strategies to reduce pollution. The event also educate students about the harmful effects of plastic pollution on marine life and the environment.
