Using basketball to improve competitiveness and sports discipline as well as social bonding
The basketball competition is one of the sports activities in the ESN Sofia Erasmus Olympic Games. This event was also combined in the same day with the volleyball event according to the latest Erasmus Olympic Games Calendar
This competition relied on the number of participants who joined so that we could choose a more suited playing format on the spot. We decided to play a small team vs teams game. A classic game of basketball but with smaller teams. Instead of rewarding the team, we decided to choose the MVP of the match (most valuable player). He will awarded with his award during our ESN Sofia Gala night in December
All the collected entrance fees and donations from the separate Olympic disciplines will be donated to charity (foster home)
