Goal of the Activity

The goal of this activity was to provide participants with a meaningful opportunity to explore the concept of gratitude, understand its significance across cultures, and reflect on its impact on their personal well-being and relationships. By combining an educational element with a creative activity, the event aimed to foster a deeper appreciation for gratitude and to build a sense of community among participants.

Description

The event began with a dynamic presentation exploring the science behind gratitude, its cultural expressions, and practical benefits. The presentation also included descriptions of simple, evidence-based activities that help participants practice gratitude in their daily lives. Following the presentation, attendees worked together to create a gratitude mural by writing or painting things they were thankful for. This collaborative activity encouraged self-reflection, strengthened social connections, and celebrated the positive impact of gratitude.
