The main goal was to learn more about the protection of the turtles in Greece, support the NGO Archelon and contribute on the protection of the environment by cleaning glyfada beach.
Greece is famous for souvlaki, Acropolis, her beautiful people, but also her beaches. What beaches have? Sea turtles! That is why we took the initiative with the help of “ARCHELON: The Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece” to learn more about them. We will be guided around the sea turtle rehabilitation tanks and the exhibition at the Sea Turtle Rescue Centre in Glyfada Attica, learn their stories, watch videos with their releases back to the wild and discuss the issues at hand. The program will last 45 minutes and after that we will go for beach cleaning at Glyfada Beach, so that we can also contribute to save the environment and sea life. We will give you bags and gloves, so the only thing you must bring is your good energy! After our work, we can chill at the beach! But first you need to fill in the form, so we know you are coming:
