Goal of the Activity

The activity supports a local animal shelter by walking dogs, interacting with cats, and donating essential supplies to enhance the care of the animals. Participants enjoy a fulfilling and relaxing experience in nature, forming bonds with the animals while contributing to their well-being. This initiative promotes a sense of community and solidarity, providing an opportunity for individuals to connect with one another and make a meaningful impact, all while embracing the joy of being outdoors and interacting with animals.

Description

In this enriching evening event, participants meet to walk the dogs at the "Lesė" Vilnius Shelter. They learn valuable skills in dog walking, helping the animals get fresh air and exercise while promoting their well-being. This hands-on activity fosters a sense of responsibility and solidarity, as participants contribute to the shelter by bringing donations, requested by the shelter itself. In addition to walking the dogs, participants have a chance to visit the cats at "Lesė" and learn more about their lives in the shelter. This experience encourages community engagement, empathy, and a meaningful connection to both the animals and each other, while making a positive impact on the shelter's efforts.
