the goal of this activity is to get all new and “local” international students to get connected and form a relationship with each other. This event also acts as an opportunity for new incoming students who still wish to get connected with students who have been living in the Netherlands for longer than them. From this event, they can share experiences in living in the Netherlands
A brief introduction to the Buddy Program, it is a program provided by ESN Breda to connect incoming students with local students, this program aims to give an opportunity for incoming students to have a “buddy” that can help them in answering their questions regarding living in the netherlands as well as giving them a friend before and after they arrive in the Netherlands. Typically, this program is initiated before the beginning of the semester until the end of the semester with lots of exclusive events for all “buddies” to join!
In this event, we are giving the opportunity for all new students to get in touch with our local buddies. Depending on the participant’s status, they will be divided into:
LOCAL BUDDY - Green Bracelet
INCOMING BUDDY - Yellow Bracelet
IN SEARCH FOR A BUDDY - Red Bracelet
a quiz game will be provided and the local students will have to be paired up with the incoming buddies as a team. This is to encourage them to interact and bond with each other.
