Goal of the Activity
To teach exchange students popular Italian card games to showcase lesser known aspects of Italian culture and spend some time together. Hence why we organized a "Scopa tournament".
Description
The event took place at "Zooky", a bar in Modena's city center that is also a local ESN partner. Upon arrival, exchange students were assigned an ESN member each, to be taught the rules of "Scopa", a popular Italian card game. Once everyone became familiar with how it worked, we began with the tournament to which both volunteers and Erasmus students were allowed to participate. The best three players received a prize each.
