The aim of the event was to promote the University of Trieste's new Erasmus+ for Study call and international mobility in general.
On January 26th 2024, ESN Trieste took part to the University of Trieste's International Day. The International Day takes place every year to present the new Erasmus+ for Study call, but this year was special because the University of Trieste celebrates its 100th birthday. For this occasion, some former outgoing Erasmus students (now ESN volunteers) took part to the presentation of the call by the International Mobility Service, telling the more than 100 attendants about their mobility experience. The famous Italian journalist Beppe Severgnini was also invited to the event and contributed to inviting potential outgoing students to apply for an experience abroad. After the presentation a Mobility Fair was held, in addition to a concert with songs in different languages and a lottery with prizes such as gadgets from the University of Trieste. The Mobility Fair was entirely organised by ESN Trieste and was composed by various stands divided by country where ESN volunteers, former outgoing students, and current incoming students could share information about their destination/home country and university, as well as answer questions by potential outgoing students.
