The goal of the activity was to help the new arriving internationals settling in and getting to know their new city. It was the first big event of the semester and was also a moment intended to get to know the newcomers and for them to meet each other.
For a full week, each evening/afternoon was dedicated to a guided tour of one of Paris' neighborhood. The visits were prepared in advance by the volunteers (itinerary, text) + the tours were also delivered by one or several volunteers.
We tried to focus on details, tips, anecdotes so the visits were a bit personalised and not just like any guided tour you could find in a capital.
After each tour eveyone gathered in a bar to get to know each other.
First big event of the semester, it is perfect way to welcome the new internationals and make them feel at home in their new city.
