The goal of this activity was to raise the awareness about the strays inside the campus and to learn how we can provide help to the Animal welfare Group that takes care of them.
In cooperation with the Animal Welfare Group 🐾 of the University of Ioannina, we organized a "Walk the Dogs" event 🐶.
In the beginning of the event, there was a presentation by the representatives of the Animal Welfare Team in the Auditorium of the Central Library of the University. In this presentation we learnt everything about the mission of the team, the problems that they are facing and the different ways that we can help.
After that, we walk 👣 all around the University's campus and fed the strays, played with them and gave them our love ♥️.

As a result the students learnt that the strays are not hostile dogs. Also,now they know the feeding spd ots in the campus. And an Erasmus student took as an example an ESNer and she is hosting a puppy until a family to be found. That gave us the idea to make it a campaign in the the close future.
