The goal of this trip was to show people another beautiful part of country including a famous Abbey and castle ruin.
For this event we met together in front of the main university and then took a rented bus to Melk, a beautfil small city. There people were free to explore it on their own for over an hour until we met again in order to make an tour through the famous Abbey Stift Melk to see its ancient library and admire the baroque architecture. We then went to a local restaurant to enjoy the Austrian cuisine before departing to the village of Dürnstein, where we could marvel at the castle ruin which lies next to the river Danube. After Dürnstein we took the bus back to Vienna.
The trip was definitely successful! Lots of people signed up for it and they genuinely enjoyed the tour and the sight of the Abbey and the castle ruin.
