The goal of the activity was to motivate the students to volunteer in their free time during their Erasmus stay.
On this day ESN BME joined the Volunteer Day organized by Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
During the Volunteer Day students do volunteer work (painting of fences in schools, gardening, planting, removal of graffities or collecting garbage in public areas) in the 11. district, the home of the university.
The international students and the mentors of our section helped to repaint fences and did some gardening in a local primary school.
The participants of the event became so enthusiastic about doing volunteer work. After the volunteer day some of the international students joined more volunteer event in the city. ;)
