To raise awareness among exchnage students to Saint Petersburg about the social aspect of wild animal wellfare and provide the opportunity not only to learn about the wild nature, and how one should respect it, but as well, being able to leave an impact in the society by helping the organization.
Trip to VELES Wild Animals Rehab Center provided us not only with educational aspect on lives of wild animals, but gave us a chance to activly volunteer, helping the center staff to complete vast majority of tasks.
We managed to contribute to the rehab center with provisions of over 25kg for animals.
The participants learned about the condition of governmental organizations.
The participants learned about correct behaivior in wild nature.
The participants were able to actively help in cleaning, preparing and feeding animals.
