Objective / Goal of the activity
Visit the factory of a local beer manufacturer in a town near Santander. Also, visit the village of Liérganes as well as some of its history and legends.
Description
We went to the village by train and visited the village. The Erasmus learnt about the legend of the Fish-man and saw the Lierganes landscapes and its famous twin mountains.
Then we went to the factory were they explained us about the production of the local beer and gave us a tour inside. We learnt about how the beer is made and got to taste some of the different flavours. We also ate some typicall Spanish food, such as tortilla de patata, empanadas or embutido.
Result of the activity
Everybody was very happy at the end of the activity and got to learn and visit a village of Cantabria, our region.
