This trip to Sintra promoted Portugal's cultural heritage, particularly the architectural and natural beauty of Sintra, one of the country's most famous villages.
Description
During this day trip, participants explored the charming and mysterious Quinta da Regaleira, full of hidden gems like the famous masonic well and its galeries of stone tunnels that lead to mesmerising waterfalls. They also explored the Palácio da Pena, a palace where the royal family of Portugal once spent their summer holidays.
Result of the activity
This one-day trip allowed the students to learn about Sintra, a historic and charming village in Portugal, and it also helped foster international friendships among them.
