Objective / Goal of the activity
This trip took International Students to visit the city of Porto, the second biggest city in Portugal. It aimed at showing more of Portugal's iconic landmarks, as well as a different cultural and historic city in the country, with different traditions and architecture than Coimbra.
Description
The trip to Porto was a weekend-long trip where students visited the most iconic places in Porto, such as the Clérigos Tower, Casa da Música and the Gardens of the Crystal Palace. They also had the opportunity to be guided in the city centre by volunteers from ESN Porto, and to visit a wine cellar and taste Porto wine.
Result of the activity
After this activity, International Students became more interested in visiting and learning more about the country's historical cities.
