Objective / Goal of the activity
Sweet Coimbra is a tasting event where international students can taste the most traditional sweets and desserts in one of Coimbra's most iconic cafés: A Brasileira. It promotes the local culture and, at the same time, local businesses located Downtown, a typical area of the city full of small cafés and shops and cultural heritage
Description
During this activity, students paid a small fee to taste several different traditional sweets made in Coimbra. It was hosted by A Brasileira, one of the oldest cafés in the city, who presented the sweets and explained their history to the participants.
Result of the activity
After this activity, the participants were more aware of the rich food history of the city and of Portugal.
