The goal of the activity was for the students to spend the day with children with disabilities by playing games with them, while introducing them to their culture through music, dance and some basic words of their language. They also shared a meal and helped the social workers with their different tasks during the day.
The day started with a presentation of the school as well as its members. We were then divided into 2 teams to spend our morning with either a group of autistic children or a group of multi-handicapped adolescents with a motor disability. We played games (giant goose game, blind test etc) and then we shared a meal together. In the afternoon, we prepared signs to attend a rugby match where the director of ALEDD was playing and then we went back home to have a snack before ending this beautiful day!
