Goal of the Activity

2023. is the European year of Skills, and motivated by that we decided to create an Activity that would promote skills development amongst young people. The organization of this Activity was prompted by the rapid development of the labor market, the appearance of various increasingly popular and sought-after skills, but also the inaccessibility of information about them. Unfortunately, young people today still cannot afford various courses, seminars or lectures in these areas because they are often outside the student budgets or are carried out over a long period of time, which often does not fit into the schedule of young people. Driven by the desire to provide the local community with initial information about currently increasingly popular fields and skills, we decided to create an Activity that does just that.

The main goal of the "Skills & Employability Week" project wasto encourage the development of skills and employability among young people, but also to create young professionals full of knowledge and experience, and prepare them for the labor market.

Description

Skills & Employability Week is a two-day conference that consisted of 6 lectures. The lectures covered the following topics: LinkedIn, Social Media Management, AI & ChatGPT, Entrepreneurship, Event Management and Communications. Lectures were held by excellent experts and well-known names in those fields. Participation in the conference was free, and thanks to wonderful partners and sponsors, the event was very successful.
