Objective / Goal of the activity
To raise money for charity cause.
Description
A karaoke night for the Erasmus students where instead of fixed entrance fee we put donation boxes. Anyone could give as much as they wanted. The amount collected were for a charity cause - buying food for orphanages for kids in Bulgaria. We provided a small gift for the best singer - a toy microphone full of sweets.
Result of the activity
We raised 143 lv ( around €72 ) and food vouchers worth 168 lv ( €84). The money are for different orphanages for kids in Bulgaria. With this amount of money we will buy various food products such as cooking oil, flour, salt and sugar, packages of rice, pasta and other kind of products that don't need to be refrigerated.
