Objective / Goal of the activity
Learning of basic sign language which can help to communicate with deaf-mute workers at Medical University of Warsaw.
Description
Our teacher prepared mainly medical language and expressions which are used every day. At first he showed alphabet and how to count. Then more elaborated signs. By repeating them with our student they managed to remember quite big number of signs!
Result of the activity
Improvement of communication with deaf-mute workers at our uni and also with patients at hospitals during classes! Sign language can also be used in fitire job as a doctor.
