Semmelweis Blood Donation Spring 2019

Blood. It's time to donate!

It is possible to donate blood during Spring 2019 at Semmelweis on the following dates and places:

📅 On April 24th (Wednesday) between 10 AM to 3 PM at NET building,
📅 on April 25th (Thursday) between 10 AM to 3 PM at EOK building,
and two weeks later
📅 on April 7th (Tuesday) between 10 AM to 3 PM at ETK building.

Addresses:
📍 NET - 1085 Budapest, Nagyvárad tér 4.
📍 EOK - 1094 Budapest, Tűzoltó utca 37-43.
📍 ETK - 1088 Budapest, Vas utca 17.

Help save lifes - take the time to give blood.

Conditions for participation:
✔️ Be healthy
✔️ Min. weight 50 kg
✔️ Your age between 18 and 65

Don't forget at home:
✔️ Your passport / ID card / driving licence
✔️ Hungarian address card (they should know your official Hungarian address)
✔️ EU insurance card or if you have a TAJ card (Hungarian insurance card)

❗ Please eat and drink properly before coming!

You cannot give blood if:
❌ You have had a tooth extraction or other endodontic surgery, or taken antibiotics in the last 4 weeks
❌ If you suffer from thyroid gland problems and take hormonal medication for it (euthyrox, l-thyroxin etc.)
❌ Diabetics taking insulin
❌ Pregnant women
❌ No current anti-biotic or steroid treatment
❌ New tattoo, piercing or acupuncture treatment in the last 6 months
❌ Tick bite in the last 6-8 weeks
❌ Post malaria-prone country trip - must wait 6 months
