Objective / Goal of the activity
Bringing awareness towards the challenges that people who are visually impaired face.
Description
Every participant was asked to bring a wrapped gift. At the entrance of the venue the International Students were blindfolded and then guided to a chair. 4 or 5 people were at each table, they exchanged gifts and tried to guess what their gift was without being able to see it. Afterwards, everyone took off their blindfolds and got to talk about the experience.
Result of the activity
Getting a small glimpse of the challenges that people with visual impairements face everyday.
