Objective / Goal of the activity
Get to know Murano Island and the art of the typical glass-making
Description
International students had the chance to admire glass craftsmen at work in a characteristic glass "fornace", the place where it is produced. Then, to learn more about the colourful and imaginative world of glass, we also had the possibility to visit the Murano Glass Museum. Of course we also drank the typical Venetian spritz all together to finish the day in a wonderful way!
Result of the activity
The participants had a lot of fun and learnt so many things about a very typical aspect of Venetian culture: the production of glass!
