Objective / Goal of the activity
The objective was to show students the real life of someone who has a disability. We wanted to show them that disability does not define someone and that great things can be achieved. this movie was a great way to also show the great things that can happen and be achieved when someone has a disability.
Description
Students watched the movie "The theory of everything" which recounts the life of Stephen Hawkins. They also had Fika and a short discussion after the session.
Result of the activity
Students really appreciated the movie and had the opportunity to realize that our current society has been created and planned for people without disabilities. They could see the good things and bad things of living a different life.
