The main goal of this activity was to promote student mobility and intercultural exchange through a film about these themes, as well as to foster dialogue about stereotypes and nationalities.
Before the event, participants were asked to vote on one of two films to be watched. Both were about travelling, student mobility and stereotypes. On the evening of the event, the film was announced. The participants then arrived at the venue ready to watch the film. Snacks were provided before the film for a cinema-like experience.
Overall, the participants really enjoyed the film, as its theme was student mobility and everything that this entails: from making new friends to the stereotypes they might encounter during their travels. The film also sparked interesting conversations regarding these topics, which was much appreciated both by the participants and the ESN volunteers who organised and attended the event.
