The goal was to introduce our students to beautiful countries: Ireland and Latvia. People usually don't know a lot about them so this was our chance to show them beauties of these two countries.
For the 3rd day of The Culture Week, we prepared MEEet my country: Ireland and Latvia edition. During this event, they expended their knowledge about history, culture and fun facts through the eyes of local people(our two Erasmus students). After that, we had a pub quiz based on everything they heard in the presentation. In the end, we had the prize for the winner.
The result was very positive. Students were so into this and they were so competitive when we had a quiz. In the end, they have proved to us that these kind of events are amazing for learning something new while still having fun and enjoying at the same time .
