The goal of the activity was to introduce a specific type of meditation to our local and Erasmus students to help them in learning about their health and well being and to give them the necessary tools to lower stress levels and increase calmness.
The activity was organized as an introductory course of Sahaja Yoga meditation which is a simple technique that can be used anytime and anywhere and the courses are free everywhere in the world. The first hour of the activity was the course part where participants learned about the technique. The second hour was for participants to try meditating using the newly learnt techniques and try to find calmness in a busy lifestyle.
The activity had a really positive feedback from the participants and organizers. A lot of participants showed willingness to continue practicing meditation and said they experienced a new level of peace and managed to relax their mind and body which is crucial for the well being of young people.
