As a part of the International Day held in University of Lapland we had an International fair where international students represented their countries, shared some food, held a quiz etc. to share the cultures and encourage people to go on exchange.
Our university held an annual International Day which aims to encourage students to go on exchange. We had an International fair where international students represented there countries. We encouraged them to cook some typical dishes/snacks of their home countries, hold a quiz, dance whatever would represent their countries best. International office of the University of Lapland paid the ingredients of their cooking.
There were less stand holders than expected but everyone enjoyed and we got a good amount of people visiting the stalls and getting information about different countries and cultures.
