Learn about all the benefits that horses have and the good work that they do for autistic people.
The EquiTEA Association is an Inclusive School of Equestrian Activities, established as a Non-Profit Organization. Their mission is to bring the World of the Horse, and its many opportunities for fun and learning, to people with Functional Diversity, whose access to community resources is restricted either due to lack of financial means, qualified personnel, or reduction of your rights by presenting a specific disability or need. EquiTEA offers a wide range of activities whose short and long-term benefits become more than obvious to the users of these practices and their families.
We could visit them and learned how the Assisted Interventions with Horses can be a complementary therapeutic alternative to the traditional ones, based on the use of the Horse as an integrating, motivating and rehabilitative element, guided by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in a playful context and surrounded by living nature.
We learned so much about therapies with horses and we had a good time with the children.
