Objective / Goal of the activity
Give the students a bit of a scare, while enjoying (or not?) a Halloween classic.
Description
We organized a Halloween movie night for the students as it’s the perfect way to prepare for one of the scariest of festivities. We chose the original IT movie from 1990 as it’s the perfect way to do the season justice. We also prepared Halloween themed snacks as the perfect pairing to the movie. We for example gave out gummy teeth and ghost crisps. The snacks were all on a donation basis and the students brought drinks for themselves.
Result of the activity
Even though the original IT movie is quite long no one left early. The snacks we provided were very well received and by the end of it there were basically only crumbs left.
