The goal of the activity was to promote the heart of Pisa: its Piazza dei Miracoli. Most of the students on Erasmus here, usually can't afford to visit the monuments of this beautiful square from the inside so we decided to organize this guided tour in English for a very low price. Therefore, the main objective was to show them our cultural heritage.
We organized a tour of the main monuments of Piazza dei Miracoli (the Baptistery, the Cathedral and the Cemetery [Campo Santo]) with the help of a professional guide that guided the entire tour in English. The participants could listen clearly to the guide thanks to pocket radios and earphones.
At the beginning we also provided brochures about the city of Pisa that the municipality donated to us for this event.
The internal students appreciated a lot this tour and the beauty of our city that got to know a lot better. We believe we managed to promote at best our heritage.
