The goal of this activity is to confront international students to the reality and the difficulties that one can experience. International students can experiment solidarity.
Also, it shows how the organizations' network is developed in France.
Once a month on a Friday mornin, we help the Secours Populaire Français to do the food distribution (that they are doing every Friday mornings) to the families in need and who are registered in the organization.
This day, 135 families came to take food for almost free (4 euros maximum). The food quantity given depends on how many people composed the family. They can get things like milk, cereals, food can, vegetables, pasta, rice, bread, etc.
International students got to help persons in need and to see how many people are in need. They also meet and talk to people to better understand their lives.
