Increase awareness of international students about homelessness in Alicante and encourage them to participate in the food delivery of the local association.
Five international students attended a workshop about homelessness in Alicante; they learnt about the situation and the social services system, the relationship between the homeless, the main problems of living on the street and the projects the local organisation have for these people. We brought 60 pieces of fruit, sandwiches and sweets for the delivery.
Three of the international students attended the food delivery, they enjoyed the experience and are willing to participate again. The other two people will join the delivery on other occasion because of lack of space.
All of them are more conscious about the difficult situation of the people living on the streets.
