Objective / Goal of the activity
To help an association collect a total of 2,500,000 kilos of non-perishable food to help more than 140,000 underprivileged people of Madrid Comunity.
Description
We helped in the Big Food Collection the day 22nd November. We participated as volunteers in an local supermarket. The tasks of the volunteers were to inform people about the campaign, ask them if they would like to colaborate with food donations, to receive the non-perishable food items and organize them depending on the type of food.
Result of the activity
We reach to pack 3 large trolleys with products and in total we got 2.750.000 kilos in Madrid Comunity.
