Objective / Goal of the activity
Every year the Food Bank collects a total of 8100 tons of non-perishable food to help for the most disadvantaged people in Italy.
Description
We participated as volunteers in a local supermarket in Genoa. The volunteers' job was to inform people about the campaign, ask them if they would like to collaborate with food donations, give a bag where they could put food, receive non-perishable foods and organize them according to the type of food.
Result of the activity
Our goal has been achieved, we have collected many bags of food.
