As last event of our ESN Uni Wien Green Week we took a look behind the colourful façade of the Spittelau waste incineration plant by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser in Vienna.
Description
This was a guided tour to a Viennese waste incineration plan to find out how waste turns into heat.
Result of the activity
We learnt about Vienna’s waste, recycling and disposal system, and discovered how heating and hot water is generated in an environmentally friendly way.
