In this tandem two main activities were carried out. But, before starting with them, we all watched the short film that had been recorded by ESN Madrid and posted that same day.
Then, we started with the first activity that consisted in commenting a series of images of advertisements and to discuss if they were male chauvinistic or not. Of course, everyone agreed that most of them, after a short discussion, were chauvinistic, what allowed us to show everyone that we have normalized male chauvinistic advertisements.
In the second activity there were different cards about attitudes that are usually held in nowadays relationships. Then, they had to discuss if they agreed those were chauvinistic situations or not, and if in their countries they also had those kind of situations in their relationships.
The Erasmus students found the activity quite interesting, they had quite interesting discussions, such as the situation of feminism in different countries.
It was noted that most of them were quite aware of the situation and that thanks to activities like this they get an even bigger awareness.
