When in Portugal be Portuguese, don’t you agree? Do you want to know more about Portuguese culture, so this is the perfect night for you! You are going to have the chance to listen to Fado while eating some delicious Portuguese tapas, and we cannot forget a glass of Port wine, right?
Are you already thinking about the music? “Fado” means destiny, it’s a Portuguese national treasure and a part of UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage. You'll get to listen to it performed by a genuine students' Fado group in a typical Porto restaurant, while you are served the most authentic Portuguese tapas.

This event was sold out very quickly, as always. The international students really enjoy getting to know our portuguese culture a little bit better, including our cuisine and musical traditions. This time, we decided to give a souvenir to the international students. We printed out the lyrics of the portuguese musics sang by Grupo de Fados do ISEP and then translated it for them, so that they could understand better the real and emotional meaning of the portuguese songs.
